American rapper Snoop Dogg has become a co-owner of a coffeeshop located on Marnixstraat in Amsterdam. Currently known as Funky Munkey, the establishment will soon be rebranded as S.W.E.D., which stands for Smoke Weed Every Day.
Due to current city regulations that prevent the opening of new coffeeshops, Snoop Dogg has invested in an already existing one. According to Het Parool, the other co-owner is Rachid Bahida, who also owns a coffee shop on the Spuistraat in Amsterdam.
Snoop Dogg, who is currently in Paris covering the Olympic Games for an American TV network, recently inaugurated his first coffee shop in Los Angeles two weeks ago.
